The Story Up to This Point
Ok so from the beginning the pair of Whisker and Ezra found each other along a road. They followed the road north and arrived at the village of Hewnheim where they heard of a temple located in the forest nearby and Whisker nearly died due to trying to leave Ezra behind. They arrived at a temple and found it was to the dragon Goddess Tiamat and fought a wight and pulled a level which opened a staircase in the large chamber. They went down the stairs and found a stature of a White Dragon named Tydek who was called the first of the chosen which was magically sealed. They returned to Hewnheim and learned from the librarian that Tydek was a white dragon who was a leader of a few tribes of kolbolds near where the Guth River met the Awred Mountains. They infiltrated and killed one of the villages of kolbolds on their way to the lair of Tydek. Upon arriving at the lair of Tydek the killed the first kolbold chieftain and grabbed his key and moved on deeper into the lair. As they moved on the barbarian Rocky showed up and started to go the opposite way clearing out the other side of the dungeon. After killing the second chief and taking the second key the adventures met up for the first time and rested before taking on the third and final chief and taking the final key. Now ready to confront Tydek they walked into his room and Whisker proceeded to jump on the gong tile many times over. Due to this as they walked in Tydek fell upon both Rocky and Ezra attacking them with his frozen breath. After the final blow was struck to the incapacitated Tydek by the Rocky Punch the group proceeded to strip the dragon of everything except guts and three legs. They then exited and on the walk through the tundra to the city of Siber Rocky cleanly cut down a Manticore who attacked the group they arrived at the small farming town of Siber where Whisker ordered his own wagon and bought the riding dog Scott while Ezra bought a pony and Rocky scared a man into giving him his belt to attach his various pelts to. As a final act as a group they were attacked by and killed a Winter Wolf while waiting for the wagon to be created. At this point Rocky set out on his own path while Whisker and Ezra made their way back to Hewnheim with the newly opened Whisker’s Wares. The two arrived to find the town had expanded and Whisker made a deal with the gnome Trinket to help sell his wares. After their time in the town they returned to the Temple of Tiamat and walked through the now open door behind the statue of Tydek. In this lower level of the temple they walked and by acting with godlike ability Whisker not only stopped a huge snake from crushing him but also felled it in only two blows. In the room with the snake they found a shrine with a hole in it and after trying to stick just about everything into it Whisker finally inserted the ceremonial dagger which opened a steel door for underwater earlier in the temple. This once again lead to more stairs and the two found yet another statue and blocked door this time of a black dragon called Firfnir second of the chosen and another magically bound door. The two once again left and returned to Hewnheim where they learned from the librarian that Firfnir was said to live in the Gilded Marshes where he was terrorizing the townsfolk of the province. Whisker and Ezra then departed for the town of Banas where they caught a ferry to take them to the marshes. When they arrived they found the town themselves in the town of Difeild where the effects of Firfnir’s attacks were evident with parts of the town burnt with acid. Since no one in the town knew where Firfnir lived exactly they decided to go searching for the Gilded Rangers who protected the Marshes but whose camps were littered and secret through the marshes. The two adventurers eventually found such a camp and were able to get the location of the lair from one of the rangers stationed there. They returned to Difeild where Whisker found himself a girlfriend in the form of the gnome Advarowen while Ezra failed miserably at hitting on girls. They then found a ferry to Stafite which was closer to Firfnir’s lair. Stafite was almost destroyed and they were forced to take a rowboat to the island were Firfnir made his lair. They arrived and set up camp but Ezra was nearly mauled to death by a Shadow Mastiff who attack in the night. After healing the two started into the swampy ruins where Firfnir made his lair. The two had a fearsome battle with a seven headed hydra which nearly killed them as well as, with Whisker’s luck, nearly killed itself. However they defeated the hydra and opened the door to Firfnir by placing the sun moon and star stones in the right places. This was also a first because Whisker decided to look for traps and so they avoided their first trap during their dungeon delving. Whisker attempted to coax the dragon by saying he admired it but eventually it began shooting acid which hit both party members and with a second shot melted through the door. The duo where however able to defeat Firfnir and so left him dungeon in their rowboat. They sailed north and arrived at the town of Kliden where they found the lord of the town and he told them that this was the territory of the Kuthnel empire. They then began exploring the town and after his many failed attempts at finding women Ezra found a boyfriend very quickly. While Ezra was off doing this Whisker went to a bar which he became determined to buy. Whisker however was 1300gp short of the price of the bar and so ran in on Ezra who was making out with his boyfriend and they had a huge argument which lead to the arrest of and eventual bailout of Whisker who at this point decided not to buy the bar. Whisker and Ezra who decided to leave his boyfriend then returned to Difeild where they met up with Advarowen, Scott, Kaoro (Ezra’s pony) and the Whisker’s Ware’s wagon. They then took a boat back north to Banas and eventually returned to Hewnheim which they found had expanded again. Advarowen was demmanding the best hotel room there was while the other two were off at the temple. Whisker however struck a deal with the innkeeper who gave her the maid’s room but she was somehow convinced it was in fact the best room and she was grateful to Whisker. Then the two left and found the door behind Firfnir’s statue was no longer shut off to the world. They entered and found four braziers which they lit along with a giant which they slew and, as Whisker pointed out is everywhere, a storeroom. After lighting the braziers the found yet another staircase and when the descended they found themselves face to face with an Allosaurus which, despite it’s best attempts, was felled while trying to swallow Ezra whole. They then walked down the stairs and found the stature of the third of the chosen, Koth the Green Dragon. They then returned to Hewnheim and so they once again asked the librarian for the whereabouts of Koth found that a dragon of that name was said to live on the Forgotten Isle. The two once again had to travel to Banas in order to catch a boat but couldn’t find any going directly to the Forgotten Isle however they did find a ship which would take them to the large trading island of Delmna. They arrived in Delmna and found it to be a much larger city than either of them expected. Whisker used this time to try and sell and much of his wares as possible and further his time with Advarowen taking her out many times to places throughout the city. Ezra on the other hand once again tried his luck with the women of the city which ended up being so bad that he not only had no luck with any women but ended up having his genitals disfigured had half of his money stolen and being left near death bleeding in the street to be found by Whisker and Advarowen so he decided to give up for a while. After around around four months they chartered a boat for the Forgotten Isle and Whisker left Advarowen with a golden pearl ring and told her to keep up the shop while he was out. They finally arrived at the Forgotten Isle at a barbarian village where Whisker disguised himself as a dwarf and tried to punch one of the barbarians who turned out to be much more fearsome than any of the others. After asking around for the whereabouts of Koth he was pointed to a small hut where he found an old man accompanied by the large barbarian from before. The old man saw through Whisker’s clever disguise and so Whisker showed his true from and asked about Koth. However the old man wouldn’t give them the location of Koth without proving themselves to him. To do this they could either bring a live megaraptor, find and bring a megaraptor egg or fell a t-rex. His son, the large barbarian who was named Var-Nek then showed them to the forest where they would be able to try their luck. However while they were making camp they were set upon by the t-rex in the woods and so attempted to run where they eventually came face to face with a megaraptor. As the raptor was attempting to escape through the brush they knocked it unconscious but at that moment the t-rex appeared in their area. Whisker made the decision that their best option would be to light the forest on fire and so shot a lightning bolt through the brush. This succeeded in scaring off the large dinosaur but the fire was spreading fast. The two did their best to drag the dinosaur back to where Var-Nek was standing but right as they made the final step to leave through the burning woods the fires just barely killed the dinosaur which they needed so badly. At that moment the old man arrived and caused a deluge which put out the fire Whisker had started. They returned to the village empty handed and so the old man told them there was one other test which they could try to pass in order to find the lair of Koth. Ezra agreed to try this which was a test of being beat upon by members of the tribe for a set amount of time without falling unconscious himself. Ezra failed this and Whisker tried his hand but he also failed. Then, by giving the old man some money, Whisker had the amount of people doing the beating lowered and so Ezra was just barely able to endure the test. Whisker however kicked him into unconsciousness and dragged him to a hot spring. Then Whisker convinced some of the tribeswomen to have sex with Ezra after he woke up and one of the two is now pregnant. Then Whisker and Ezra finally are being shown the way to the mountain where Koth lives and are ready to leave after having killed yet another megaraptor while off in the wild.

While the wiki is great for organizing your campaign world, it’s not the best way to chronicle your adventures. For that purpose, you need a blog!

The Adventure Log will allow you to chronologically order the happenings of your campaign. It serves as the record of what has passed. After each gaming session, come to the Adventure Log and write up what happened. In time, it will grow into a great story!

Best of all, each Adventure Log post is also a wiki page! You can link back and forth with your wiki, characters, and so forth as you wish.

One final tip: Before you jump in and try to write up the entire history for your campaign, take a deep breath. Rather than spending days writing and getting exhausted, I would suggest writing a quick “Story So Far” with only a summary. Then, get back to gaming! Grow your Adventure Log over time, rather than all at once.

Death of Koth and the Mountain of Misfortune

Whisker ended up leaving Ezra back in the barbarian village and going off to fight Koth himself. Once he arrived he reunited with Rocky and the two were attacked by a dinosaur in a lake which Rocky killed and skinned after severing a flipper. They moved on and fought a few fleshrakers which were vaporized by Whisker’s lightning. They then found the aloof monk named Gatorade wandering near the base of the mountain. They entered and fought their way up the mountain pass. Then they entered a cave where Rocky was nearly felled and Whisker’s magic failed him. After a rest inside the cave Whisker sent out Theodore to explore the outer cliff where he found Koth sleeping. A double surprise attack was made by Whisker and Theodore. Rocky rushed out to help however he and Whisker were caught in the acid breath of Koth. Then further misfortune as Whisker’s illusion failed to convince anyone the sun was falling. Whisker was then incapacitated as a third spell misfired in his face and he believed himself near death. However, with the help of the damage of the sneak attack combined with the rage of Rocky Koth was weakened to the point where Whisker hobbled out of the cave to deliver the final magic missile. Then as Rocky skinned the green dragon for her pelt Whisker went through the Dragon’s treasure and found many useful magical items for the party.

The Death of Demi Moore and Gatorade

After the death of Koth Rocky decided to hone his skills in the forest once again heading off on his own. Then Gatorade and Whisker descended from Koth’s nest and returned to the village and found Ezra waiting for them. Here Ezra helped Gatorade to buy a staff and in a couple days the chartered a boat heading back to the port city on Delmna. Here Whisker once again met with Advarowen and Scott who had been running Whisker’s Wares in their time away. For the next two months they set up shop with Gatorade helping to try and pay for a staff to replace the one broken by the megaraptors. They made just enough money and so Whisker was able to buy Gatorade his new staff. Then they returned to Banas and decided to trek across the tundra to try and make it back to Hewnheim and along their way they came across a gargantuan animated suit of armor. Gatorade walked straight by but Whisker shot off lightning at it and so it began to lumber towards him. The group defeated the armor and eventually made it back to Hewnheim. Here Whisker met up with his friend Trinket and they went out for drinks after Whisker was finished introducing himself to all the new people in the town. Here Gatorade was also made the VP of sales for Whisker’s Wares and helped to convince a girl to go out with Ezra. The date went fine but as they were about to leave for the Temple of Tiamat Gatorade convinced Demi Moore (The girl Connor accompanied them with to go with them as a second date.) She agreed and could not be swayed by Ezra saying that it wouldn’t be safe. As they went deeper and past the door behind the now powerless statue of Koth they came to three doors. Above the each of the doors there were words written in draconic the far left said, The Trial of Strength, the middle, The Trial of Agility, and the right, The Trial of Wisdom. However only Ezra and Whisker could read these and so Whisker tricked Gatorade and Demi into thinking that the doors said Fun Times, Peace and Love and Goofy Treasure (or something like that). They first went through the trial of strength where they were confronted by a gloom golem who caused the entire party to become filled with dread. Then Gatorade convinced Demi to try and slap it to death and she failed. Ezra rushed in to attack it but it was to no use as the clay body of the golem absorbed his strikes. The golem then knocked Demi unconscious and caused Gatorade to think he was less beautiful than Ezra which made him try and flee at which point he too was knocked unconscious. However Whisker pulled through and managed to cripple the beast and shocked it to death. The party then left to rest and heal their wounds. They opened the door to the next room and saw a mindflayer and suddenly they all felt a powerful pulsing force in their heads and all were stunned except for Whisker. Then the beast stuck all of it’s tentacles into Demi’s head and held her now unconscious body aloft. However Whisker once again pulled through for the team and incinerated the beast before more damage could be done. Ezra healed Demi and Gatorade just barely convinced her to keep going against Ezra’s wishes. Then they opened the door and saw a frozen giant man sitting in front of the next door and Gatorade told Demi that she should move him for them. She agreed but as she approached it the frost giant sprung to life and in one movement cleaved her in two. The giant then set to work on the others but they were eventually able to burn and cut the giant to death. In the next room they came across a large portal and Gatorade decided to test it by throwing the bodies of Demi and the giant through and asking what they could see. This didn’t work. The party then had to go through themselves but this was the room which held the statue of the next chosen, a blue dragon named Nar’Zek. They then left and returned to the room with the doors to the trials. They opened the door to the trial of agility and saw two giant spinning blades moving up and down the room. Gatorade made a mighty lead and made it over the blades and Ezra followed. Whisker sent Theodore through but as he tried to crawl through himself he was nicked by the blades. The next room seemed safe but as Gatorade threw a copper piece across fire began to shoot out of the wall. Then Gatorade decided to jump and as he did darts began to shoot out as a tripwire was set off but he was too fast and had already made it over the fire and through to the other side. Ezra too tried to jump the fire but failed and so took some damage. Then it was Whisker’s turn and and he tried his best to tumble through the fire scorched him. They saw the next room seemed safe even after Gatorade’s coin trick. However, as Whisker sent Theodore throughout most of the room many spikes started shooting up over and over and the little toad was nearly killed. Gatorade nimble avoided all of the spikes and made it to the chest and Ezra too made it with no harm but Whisker was impaled on a few spikes and was nearing death as they made it to the room with the portal to the dragon room. However they returned to the room and went through the room with the final trial. In this room were four pillars with buttons on them. As Gatorade pressed all of them many small water elementals were summoned many of whom were over killed by Whisker’s lighting. However eventually Gatorade pressed the buttons in the right order and so the door appeared. The next room held four chests and as Gatorade opened one and found a key Whisker proceeded to open the three others with magic and they turned out to be angry mimics. Gatorade opened the door while the other two fought the mimics and found a storeroom which he searched thorough and found another portal along with a chest. He opened the chest and then returned to fight the mimics one of whom had grappled Ezra and the other which was trying to grapple Whisker. However they were able to overcome even the magical treasure chests and so they decided to leave. Whisker then convinced them to go try and find monsters in the tundra and so as they were walking they were confronted by a Rhmorhaz which grabbed Gatorade with it’s mouth. However, as it had Gatorade in it’s jaws it became enraged which badly burned the poor monk and he died as he was swallowed by it along with all his equipment. Ezra then dealt the final blow to the beast whose heat melted his longsword as they were mourning the death of Gatorade they were approached by another monk whose name happened to be Poweraid the Deep and who said he was the cousin of the deceased Gatorade.

The Group Meets With Summoners

As they sat beside the body of the beast that had eaten Gatorade Ezra and Whisker finally decided it was time for them to part ways. As Ezra wandered off into the tundra Whisker sat and mourned the death of his best friend and VP of sales. But he didn’t have to wait long before another monk who was named Poweraid, who happened to be the cousin of Gatoraid, showed up at the grim place. Poweraid braved the still burning insides of the beast and was able to take up the quarterstaff which was unharmed during the ordeal. They returned to Hewnheim together and went into the inn where they found a young wizard named Feral Unicorn and once they left they found the druid Regulus. At this point Poweraid and Feral went out to lunch and got a partial discount by summoning spiders and complaining about it to the owner. During this time Whisker went to Illioni who asked him to follow him through a trap door. They entered a room where Illioni revealed himself to be a bronze dragon who fought with the chosen long ago and that his mate is still being held in the deepest part of the temple. He also told Whisker that the fourth of the chosen was residing in the court of the Tala empire while the final was on the elemental plane of fire. He also showed Whisker a sword which has been storing the power of the chosen which have been killed and he has told Whisker that if he helps him that he can take the item. They then left and found Poweraid and Feral rummaging though the bookstore and Whisker told them to leave and so they began going towards the Ithiall mountains so that they can make it to the desert. As they walked through the tundra they came across a pair of frost salamanders. Everything was going fine up until the point where Regulus ended up entangling the majority of the group but not the salamanders. As the salamanders approached Whisker became more and more desperate as the auras of the salamanders slowly froze Scott. However the group was able to defeat the salamanders before any casualties occurred and so went onwards. They eventually came to the Plains of Ahlan. There they were attacked by an invisible ogre mage who attacked but Feral heard it and was able to stick it in place with a web spell. However at this point a fight broke out between Whisker and Regulus and so after Regulus shot lightning at Whisker he retaliated and killed him by attacking him with his greatest fear. They slew the ogre mage after the incident and moved onwards and ran into and defeated a drider and a few spiders along with it. They passed through a town and afterwards began to search the fields for creatures to fight. They eventually ran into a hill giant and it’s band of dire wolves. They used many tactics in order to defeat the giant. They kept moving towards the Ithiall Mountains and so eventually they came to the gate to the mountain empire of the gnomes. Here the guards wouldn’t let the party in but Poweraid just began to leap over the guards and caused commotion in the city. The guards then told Whisker that they couldn’t let the group in because of a problem with demons being summoned and they couldn’t let anyone in so the problem wouldn’t let any outsiders in until things were resolved. They then flattered Whisker into helping them and so the Gnome Snurr lead them to the lair where the devils had been coming from. As they started into the dungeon Poweraid convinced Snurr to come in with them but Whisker promised him that he would be protected. They entered and saw three little kittens rolling around. Feral approached them and sensing a trap wasn’t surprised when they turned into imps. They fought the imps and with the help of celestial beetles they killed them. They went into the next room and were confronted by a trio of bearded devils. One was killed after being stunned by Poweraid’s fist and then being dissolved. After this the other two tried summoning more devils and one succeeded. Suddenly there were three summoners all going at it with Feral summoning more and more bears to attack the remaining devils and another druid named Rogalus came in and began summoning dire weasels. At this point there were three summoners and almost all the space in the room was filled. Now Whisker was going to prove himself to Snurr and started shooting lightning and destroying devils and summoned animals alike while he himself was blinking around everywhere. When the dust (and lightning) settled the adventurers were victorious and the devils destroyed.

The Party Learns the Value of a Sneak Attack

The group continued further into the devil’s lair without the druid who wandered off again. On their way they encountered chain devils and devils which turned one of Feral’s celestial lions into a drooling idiot but couldn’t achieve the same results with Poweraid before they were slain. Then the group opened a door to find a beautiful winged woman waiting for them. She told them that she was in fact an angle but Poweraid sensed something was off and accused her of lying and so the erinyes attacked. They fought bravely but before she could be slain she teleported to a different area of the dungeon. In a rush to find her Poweraid and Whisker ran into a pair of chain devils and imps while Feral used his summoned creatures to try and find where she had teleported to. Partway through the battle a bear discovered a storeroom and Poweraid ran all the way there up in six seconds. While this was happening Whisker enfeebled the remaining chain devil and started to mess around with it. Feral came in and finished the chain devil off but not before Poweraid discovered a secret door in the storeroom which lead to a chest as well as a secret door to the erinyes’ room. The group decided it was time to rest and afterwards they continued to explore the dungeon. They found and killed some lemures who were pushing a large wooden device and after dispatching them they burned the device which caused a strange humming sound to come to a stop. Next the group peered into a large hallway where they saw a halfling and the erinyes looking angrily at what seemed to be an empty gateway. They closed the door deciding it would be better to finish searching the dungeon before they attacked the two inside. In the one remaining room they saw a chest with a kitten sitting on top. Whisker strutted forward only to be grabbed by two tentacles which erupted from the walls and began tearing him apart. Eventually Feral and Poweraid were able to pry the tentacles off of the wounded Whisker and they approached the chest. Sensing yet another trap Whisker began to curb-stomp the kitten which, after breaking two of its legs decided it was not an imp and felt bad. Poweraid bandaged the kitten who only liked him from then on. Next they returned to the room and attacked in force dealing massive damage to the halfling and erinyes. They tried to fight back and the halfling summoned a fiendish giant crocodile but even this was not enough and so they triumphantly returned with Snurf as the witness to their heroic acts. The gnomish city gave them discounts and so they decided to stay for a while. While in the city they bought more equipment and in the two months they were they managed to sell everything in Whisker’s Wares making Whisker a tidy profit. Also they went to a party at Snurf’s house and when he got bored of this Poweraid left and found a gnome who wanted to duel anyone willing to fight him. Poweraid attempted this but was forced to back off before he fell unconscious. Whisker had better luck however and was able to force the duelist Poket to admit defeat. Whisker then took Poket out for drinks and they convinced him to travel with them. Poweraid once again went out into the city but this time he saw a group of young gnome monks beating on another gnome and after driving them off he help the poor beaten gnome to the cathedral in the town where he was healed and Poweraid and Feral made generous donations to the cathedral which was much appreciated. They then left, after Feral dueled and defeated Poket, to find the source of the monks and came to the monastery of Do-Mah. They entered and after a short conversation with the eldest monk in the first room Whisker constricted the entire room with the same tentacles which had nearly felled him earlier. The group then split into two groups, Whisker going with Poket and Feral with Poweraid. The adventure ended with them still in the temple having defeated many of the monks and working their way deeper into the monastery gaining tons of experience along the way.

The Capture

Feral and Poweraid finished off their monks and before they made it to the master they decided to check on Whisker and Poket. However when they arrived a half dragon claiming to be the brother of Koth appeared out of a dimensional door with his two subordinates. They took Whisker and Poket before they could react and all Feral and Poweraid could do was keep pressing onwards. They found Do-Mah waiting for them and as Feral’s lion approached grease spewed out of the floor and his lion couldn’t keep its footing and fell. However Feral summoned another lion and it was able to pin the gnome to the ground. Before he died Do-Mah asked them to spare him and they knocked him out and brought him to the guards. They were given a reward but soon figured out they would need to question him to find the lair of Koth’s brother who the monk had said was his master. They met up with a necromancer who was walking through the town and with a bit of encouragement they were able to get him to join their cause in return for letting him raise the monks of the temple as his skeleton servants. Feral, Hades and the returned Ezra arrived with skeletons in tow, Poweraid decided to run somewhere while in the caves, and after many attempts to control the mind of Do-Mah they finally agreed to help him escape his cell. To help them with this they encountered an elf rogue who went by the alias Trip Skank 2011. They succeeded in the break out and Do-Mah told them his master’s temple with located in the Gilded Marshes. After learning this Do-Mah ran off and Feral gave chase on his summoned mount. Do-Mah stunned the horse and it threw off Feral. He then tried to hide in the city but was found by Ezra. He jumped over a fence and as Ezra tried to give pursuit but ran into the wall as his horse tried to jump over it. Hades found out at this point the monk had kept his word and so stopped Feral and told him to let him go. Feral reluctantly agreed and teleported the group to Hewnheim. From there they continued south so that they could reach the Gilded Marshes. On their way the group split up one taking the road and the other the plains. Feral and Trip Skank were confronted by a construct sent to hunt them down for helping break Do-Mah out of prison. Their only way to repent was to serve out his time in the prison and so they decided to fight the machine instead. Eventually Feral was able to bring it down and up with Poweraid and they decided to return to the road where Hades was being carried upon a platform by skeletons and Ezra was riding his pony. They reunited and continued down the road moving from town to town. However at one point they were confronted by a fire giant. The giant attacked the group and dealt heavy damage to a good number of them but it was eventually brought down by a stab to the neck by Trip Skank. Hades then sacrificed a number of his gnome skeletons and decided to raise the giant as a zombie. They made it to the Gilded Marshes without any more trouble and found their way to the temple described by Do-Mah. As they entered the temple they saw two large green flames and were confronted by two hooded figure who turned out to be medusas in disguise and attempt the turned the party to stone but to no avail. They saw two doors one to the right and another to the left. They entered the door to the right they cleared out both rooms and called it a day.

The Split

Feral teleported away from the dungeon at this point but at that very moment Trip Skank and Ezra appeared. Fought a girallon who tore chunks out of Ezra. They then waited for a couple days. After this the group began to climb the first tower and after a fight with a Nessian warhound fought and defeated one of the sorcerers who had accompanied the half-dragon. They retraced their steps but in the main hall a pair of giant crocodiles and brown bears had taken up living. However Rocky and Rogulus also showed up and together they were defeated. Rocky then skinned the two crocodiles and the one useable bear which Hades rose as his servant. The group moved into the next room where they were confronted by a trio of girallons who they dispatched. In the next room the remaining trio of Rocky, Hades and Rogulus, Poweraid, Ezra and Trip Skank having chosen to wait in the main hall, fought a pair of grey renders who were killed but not before Rogulus burned a hole in the ceiling. Next they decided to move out and form their own group because none of them had any inclination to rescue Whisker.

After the others had left the remaining adventurers regrouped and decided to continue to try to save Whisker. They sensed something was amiss due to the lack of a door along one wall and so Feral decided it would be best to break it down using a summoned giant crocodile. Feral, Ezra and Poweraid broke through the wall and were confronted by the half-dragon who took Whisker hostage. He came at them and began to take on the whole group after giving a mighty roar. As the group was fighting Whisker managed to break through the gag over his mouth and keeping him silent by using a shout spell which also broke through the wall. He then proceeded to cast cone of cold at everyone and managed to hit everyone but the half-dragon monk who jumped up in the air to avoid it. Feral ran over and began to burn through the chains binding Whisker and also began to help him in aiming a lighting bolt. Right before Whisker was freed from his chains or could release his lighting bolt Poweraid was able to stun the monk and he and Ezra proceeded to finish him off. At this point they had been confronted by the second sorcerer and an invisible creature but Whisker managed to bind and constrict both using the black tentacles he summoned. After this Feral teleported the group back to the Gnome town where they met up with Advarowen who was relieved to see Whisker alive and well. They spent some more time in the town buying many new items and Whisker made a dueling ring outside where he fought the other party members to prove his superiority and all came near death at least once. Then as they were walking Whisker and Ezra were approached by a strange little girl. She asked them if they would follow her to the crypt of her family to retrieve an artifact because the crypt itself had been overrun and told them not to use the artifact but to bring it to her. They agreed to help and so followed her and were attacked by a trio of ogres who had taken up residence near the crypt. They then battled their way through facing many different undead beasts ranging from skeletons to specters to mummies a bodak and even a vampire. They defeated each challenge even though Ezra fell under the vampire’s power and refused to go back into the dungeon. Then they came to a room where they saw a crown sitting upon a tomb and Whisker ran up and put it on his head. Just as he did this a big ghost swooped into the room and began demanding to know what Whisker had done. He explained that he was the guardian of the crypt and that the crown was cursed which Whisker had learned because he now had voices talking inside his head. They attempted to pull off the crown but it didn’t work and so the guardian just told them not to let “her” have it. Later they confronted the little girl and realized she was possessed. They then assumed the best course of action would be to kill her and so Whisker convinced Ezra to take his crowbar and beat the little girl to death and right as she was about to die the spirit left but Ezra couldn’t stop his final swing and she died. The group spent some more time in the town and met a fire elemental in the castle of the gnome king who asked them to help him fight some salamanders who had escaped his lord and captured his friend. The group agreed and so headed off to the stronghold. They dispatched the guards at the gate and as they entered were attack by salamanders who lay in waiting however the majority of these were disposed of by a cone of cold shot by Whisker however two escaped. The party followed one and found a jail cell with a bunch of gnomes and a jailor along with the escaping salamander. After killing the two Whisker released the gnomes while Feral searched the room and found a hand shaped imprint on the wall which revealed a secret room where the fire elemental was being held. Working together the group disabled the magical bonds holding the fire elemental but not before Ezra was caught by one of the beams himself. After wishing the fire elemental well they decided to rest within the jail cell. Whisker and Poweraid decided to take the first watch and ended up fighting multiple waves of enemies which Feral said he wanted in on. They did need to rest and so Feral teleported everyone but the sleeping Ezra out of the dungeon. This lead to Ezra being captured and tortured by the salamander nobles which they found out when they teleported back into the jail room. They left and surprised the salamanders waiting at the door and were taken back at the pyrohydra which had been released. They were able to defeat it and with that began to search for Ezra. They came across a room where some small fire elementals were being forced to mine for the salamanders and freed them after dispatching the flaming beasts. Now Feral remembered something and ran off while Whisker began to scry and found where Ezra was being held. Next Poweraid and Whisker began to search the dungeon for Ezra. However then they came face to face with the matron of the hatchery room. As they entered they attack and she retaliated with a fireball. Poweraid jumped into the air but Whisker couldn’t avoid it in time and was caught within the inferno. Already weary this was too much for the brave gnome and he was burned to death in the resulting explosion. Poweraid then took on the matron and was able to defeat it and its guards. Knowing he could not face the nobles alone Poweraid left to rest and think about what to do. While he was waiting he came upon a wandering ranger who called himself The Chad wandering with his dire wolverine Shk. The Chad agreed to help Poweraid in his quest. Together they returned and with a raging Shk leading the way tore through the door and into the room with the salamander nobles. The nobles attempted to shoot fireballs but all three jumped out of the way. Then one of them grabbed Ezra. They began to fight the group with their spears and were dealing heavy damage. This was not enough and they were still being worn down so one of them summoned a huge fire elemental for help. The salamanders were finished off in a short amount of time and Ezra was reunited with Poweraid. However the elemental was still there but it soon returned to its home plane. Ezra greeted the pair and learned of Whisker’s demise. He then insulted The Chad who proceeded to shoot him into unconsciousness and so Poweraid dragged him back to the city. There they met up with Advarowen and told her of Whisker’s death. She was greatly saddened by this and said she would start up a new life here in the city from Whisker’s Wares Wagon and would take care of his animals. The group said their goodbyes and so headed off to the Fiel desert. However the first town they came to was populated by a large number of human soldiers in addition to the gnoll inhabitants. They approached the human’s camp and learned their leader was a man by the name of Watermack and he was being commanded by general McArthur who had a camp in a city on the southern border of the Fiel desert. They also learned this was the Kuthnel army and attempted to gain access to Watermark’s tent but failed. Then they went to town where Poweraid jumped, Ezra gathered news about the capital and found a cute soldier who he spent the night with and The Chad waited. The Chad waited until nightfall and then began to attack the camp in an attempt to kill Watermack. This caused a huge commotion and eventually The Chad was forced to flee due to an overwhelming number of soldiers.

The Party Chooses a Side

The Chad ran off into the desert leaving behind his new comrades as he had done so many times before. Poweraid then woke up upon the roof and jumped down. To his surprise he came across Feral who had been following the group at a distance after collecting the ashes of Whisker. Ezra also wandered in and joined the reformed group. Also another gnome wandered in and began asking questions about the strange band and eventually caught up to them. They learned that this was Whisker’s estranged uncle who had left Whisker to the sorcerer who trained him because he didn’t think he could take care of a child. He had wandered the world and returned to hear stories of his nephew and so came searching for him. He learned of Whisker’s death and so agreed to team up with his friends in order to try and revive Whisker. Just then they were approached by Rocky who was thrilled to learn of Whisker’s death and agreed to go with them to try and make himself more powerful. The group decided to travel south towards the border city on Poweraid’s request. On their way the group was ambushed by a gigantic scorpion. In a grueling battle Feral was almost killed but before more poison was shot into him Ezra managed to kill the thing with a power-slide across it’s belly with his flaming sword. Rocky took the carapace to the beast and added it to his growing collection and they found so small amount of gold in it’s hole. After a while of walking they came to the city to find it filled with tents on every side. Most of the group went into the city but Poweraid split off to look for general McArthur and try and win his friendship. Managing to convince the guards to let him into McArthur’s tent to tell the general about the attempt on Watermack’s life he was lead to the largest tent in the encampment. Here he brought news of the attempt and managed to convince those inside that he was sent by Watermack with the message. Poweraid then went on to say that he wished to help McArthur in his fighting and so was given a stone with which McArthur could communicate with him if need be. Poweraid then went off to town to join the others. Most of them spent the time looking for various shops but in a stroke of amazing happenstance Feral managed to find a girl who was not put off by his multitude of oddities. She was a gnoll but this did not bother Feral and she was in fact well kept with silky fur and a slim physique. Feral introduced her to his friends who were taken back by the fact Feral managed to get a girlfriend but couldn’t tell why she likes him. She was also a fairly well off gnoll and had some standing within the city which made Feral predisposed to want to free the gnolls. However Nickleflip, Whisker’s uncle, found the group a quest to help a gnoll regain the name and treasure of his disgraced family who’s keep had been taken over by raiders after being abandoned. The group approached the keep and with the help of Nickleflip’s scouting they were able to take out the gargoyle guards quickly. Nickleflip then snuck inside and saw a pair of chimeras with an ogre tamer. He attempted to attack the tamer but was seen by one of the two chimeras who attacked. The rest of the group ran in and were able to overtake the orge and his pets but not without taking some damage.
